Meet Sammie
Dec. 13th, 2019 10:27 pmI'm Sammie, and welcome to my Dreamwidth. I live in Cambridgeshire with my three children and an amazing husband. I truly believe that all the best things in life are related to one of three things - food, family, or fun. Or at least those are the things I remember most!
When I'm not working or spending time with family, you can find me curled up with a good book and a bag of chocolate buttons or at the local movie theater with a bottomless Pepsi Max and bowl of popcorn.
The most important things for you to know are
I love music
I'm easily distracted (especially by shiny things)
I'm a geek.
My hair changes colour at a whim - it's currently green. I'm married with two children. I love to read. I'm fascinated by space travel. I knit stuff. I'm a Christian. I'm interested in politics, generally Green, though sometimes I don't have the energy to deal with it. I care about social justice. I'm a cis woman, and I like people to use female pronouns for me. I studied music & philosophy at university, trained to be a music teacher... and now work as a recruitment consultant.
